Elif Demir

I have lived in Fethiye my whole life, and food is the part of town I know best, since my family has run a stall in the fish market for two generations. On camera I try to show the steps between a fish on ice and a fish on a plate, because that sequence gets skipped in most descriptions of the town. I trained myself to explain things clearly on video, pausing where a viewer would want a closer look rather than moving at my own pace. I also spend time at the small museum, since the carved stones there explain a Fethiye most visitors never hear about.
