I grew up five minutes from the cathedral, close enough to hear the astronomical clock strike noon every day of my childhood. On camera I like to angle my phone up along the spire slowly, so you feel its height the way locals stop noticing after a while. I guide from Petite France too, where the canals catch the timber houses just right in late afternoon light. I speak slowly and check in often, because a live walk only works if you can actually see what I am pointing at. Strasbourg rewards patience, and so does a good video call.
