I grew up ten minutes from Holy Trinity Church and I still set my afternoons by its bells. On camera I like to start at the river and work up towards the theatres, because that is the order the town actually reveals itself in to someone arriving off a train, rather than the order the guidebooks print. I hold my phone low across the water so you catch the swans drifting past the rowing boats while I talk about the buildings behind them. Nine years of guiding on screen has taught me when to stop talking and just let you look at what is in front of you.
