About Francesca
I have guided around Juliet's House for years, and I am always honest that the balcony and much of the story attached to it were added centuries after any real events, if there were any at all. My other session covers the house linked to Romeo nearby, similarly built on legend rather than proof. I like presenting both buildings as what they actually are, medieval architecture wrapped in a much later story, rather than pretending otherwise. I keep a warm, straightforward pace and enjoy questions about how the legend grew.
