I trained as a museum guide at the Palais des Ducs before moving to live video calls, and I still start most sessions in front of the palace's grand square. On camera I like to hold on the Jacquemart clock at Notre-Dame long enough for viewers to actually watch the figures move, since that detail gets lost in photos. Burgundy's history runs through nearly everything I show, from the dukes to the mustard trade that came later. I keep my pace measured and my explanations exact, since a rushed sentence about history usually ends up wrong.
