Kinga Sobczak

I studied history at the Jagiellonian University and specialise in the Jagiellonian dynasty, so Wawel Castle and its cathedral are where my sessions take place most often. I like connecting specific rooms and courtyards to the kings who commissioned them, making the history feel concrete rather than a general overview. I also cover the hill itself, since its position above the river shaped the whole city's early development. Video works well here, since I can hold the camera on architectural details across several centuries of building that are easy to miss on a quicker visit.
