Kyriaki Papanikolaou

I studied medieval history and worked for several years as a site guide inside the Palace of the Grand Master before moving to video sessions, so I still find new details in that courtyard every time I walk through it. On camera I try to separate what is genuinely medieval from what the Italians rebuilt in the 1930s, since the two get confused easily. I also walk the Street of the Knights often, since it connects directly to the palace, and I like explaining how the order organised itself by nationality along a single street. I answer questions in as much detail as anyone wants.
