I run most mornings on top of the Renaissance walls, so I usually start sessions right there, camera steady along the tree-lined path while I explain how the ramparts were built to survive a siege that, in the end, never actually came. I like pointing out one of the eleven bastions along the way, since each has its own small history most visitors never hear about. Filming while walking the wall works well on video, since the path is flat and wide enough to keep a steady shot the whole way round. I try to match my pace to how a genuinely local morning walk feels rather than rushing.
