I get around this city entirely by bicycle, the way most residents do, and my sessions usually start from Mill Road rather than the colleges everyone already knows about. I like showing the mosques, the independent shops and the cafes that make this street feel like the city's actual neighbourhood rather than its postcard version. On camera I mount the phone on the handlebars for the ride down and dismount to walk the busier stretches on foot. I have lived three streets off Mill Road for eight years and I still find something I had not noticed most weeks.
