Minna Pekkarinen

I worked two seasons at Arktikum before guiding on camera, mostly on the Sámi exhibits, which is still the part of the museum I explain most carefully. On a call I hold the phone on the building's long glass tunnel from outside and describe specific objects and stories from the collection I remember clearly. I grew up partly in a Sámi household further north and try to explain that history properly rather than in passing. I speak carefully and slow down whenever a detail matters more than the overview.
