I studied urban planning and wrote a paper on how Flon changed from a working freight yard into the district it is now, so I like explaining the shift as much as showing the bars themselves. On camera I walk through in the early evening, as the venues are just opening, then again later when the district is at its loudest. I trace the old warehouse structures still visible behind newer signage, since the bones of the place tell their own story. I keep my pace relaxed and let the district's own noise fill in some of the detail. I answer questions about specific venues as we go.
