Saoirse Byrne

I trained as a horticulturist and worked for years in Dublin's parks department before moving into guiding, so Iveagh Gardens and the canal paths nearby are where my sessions are strongest. On camera I like showing corners of the city that stay quiet even at busy times of day, explaining the planting and design behind spaces most visitors never find. Five years of guiding has taught me to slow right down in a garden and let it sit on screen before I explain it. I always leave room for a proper question about the planting.
