I trained as a historian before I started guiding, and I still get excited explaining how a German-built district ended up next to a medieval one without either looking out of place. On video I try to hold the frame still at the Ponts Couverts so you can actually read the towers instead of watching them blur past. I answer questions as they come rather than saving them for the end, because half of what people ask changes where I point the camera next. Strasbourg is a city of overlapping borders, and that is exactly what I try to show.
