Ville Korhonen

I worked summers on one of the tall ships moored at Forum Marinum before I studied maritime history properly, so I know the rigging better than most guides who only read about it. On camera I stay on the quay beside the ships rather than boarding them, and explain what each vessel actually carried in its working life. I grew up watching the archipelago ferries leave from this same stretch of river. I keep sessions focused on one ship at a time rather than rushing the whole harbour.
