Sanne Peters

I run three quite different sessions, a flower market, an open-air theatre in the city's largest park, and a stretch of water where old locks still control the level of a canal. What ties them together is that I like showing something working rather than just standing still, whether that is flowers being arranged or water moving through a lock gate. On camera I hold on the mechanism or the process long enough for it to actually make sense. Ten years in, I still find the locks the hardest thing to explain well, so I keep practising.
