Siobhán Casey

I worked three summers behind a fish stall in the English Market before I ever thought about guiding, so I know its stallholders by name and its layout without looking. On camera I move slowly between counters and let the market's own noise carry the session rather than talking over it. I studied food history at UCC and I bring that into how I explain Cork's older streets too, the cathedral, the fort, the tower with its two-coloured stone. Video calls suit this kind of close, detailed showing, and I always leave the last stretch open for whatever a viewer wants to ask about.
